La musicoterapia come parte del percorso terapeutico dei pazienti oncologici e dei loro caregiver può portare ad una migliore gestione del dolore e dell'ansia, migliorare il rilassamento, facilitare le capacità espressive e contribuire ad un indirizzo ottimale delle emozioni offrendo supporto durante l'esperienza della malattia e del lutto. Nella nostra esperienza il FuckCancer Choir rappresenta un esempio di canto corale che porta benefici psicosociali ai partecipanti (sia ai pazienti che ai caregiver ma anche agli operatori sanitari).
